At the edge of the sky stands a post office that delivers all the words people never managed to say.
Ash found an unstamped letter in his grandmother's old cabinet. On the envelope were the words: To the Cloud Whale Post Office. At sunset, the clouds outside his window suddenly took the shape of a huge white whale and drifted slowly to a stop beside the roof. It opened its mouth, and inside glowed a row of tiny postal lamps.
